About The PM Company
The PM Company is a family-owned and operated commercial real estate development company. Their work runs from development to property management and services, and they keep a close eye on their social responsibilities and what the community needs.
The business challenge
The PM Company’s maintenance workers had used the same application for many years, with new functions and features stitched in as they came up. Over time all those additions left the interface cluttered and unattractive for the people using it every day. The PM Company was ready to rebuild it on a newer technology stack, with a new UI and some brand-new features.
What we did
Paradynamix rewrote the application in Vue, a more modern tech stack. We kept the existing features and functions and moved the rest of the system into a new framework that responds quickly and smoothly. For onsite workers, logging time and actions on a work order takes less effort than it used to.
What happened
The PM Company now runs a new version of the application with a completely rewritten user experience. The interface looks consistent and reacts smoothly to input, and we refined some of the data entry at The PM Company’s request. Under it sits a custom framework we built on Vue. On their tablets, crews pick a job and start tracking time, and they can switch to another job easily. An ongoing maintenance contract means a professional team is on hand whenever changes or bug fixes come up.
