Imagi-Tech builds custom business software for small and mid-sized businesses across ten Ohio markets, from our office in Marietta, Ohio. Most engagements move an aging Microsoft Access database or a set of spreadsheets onto a modern cloud system while keeping the existing workflow intact. Work runs through documented blueprints and prototype checkpoints you approve, and you own the system, the data and the documentation at the end. What kind of software does Imagi-Tech build?
Custom business applications — the sort that replace spreadsheets, aging Access databases, and off-the-shelf software that almost fits your process but not quite.
Will our data survive the migration?
Yes. We run both systems in parallel until every number agrees, and we document the migration at each step. Zero data loss is the only acceptable outcome.
How long does a typical project take?
It depends on scope. A straightforward Access migration might be three months; a multi-module system might be a year. We scope it in writing before we start the clock.
What if we need changes after launch?
That's expected, and most of our clients are in ongoing engagements. We build systems to be extended and we stay available after launch.
Do you build mobile apps?
Yes. Several of our systems pair a field app with an office web app. We build for iOS, Android, and the browser.
Do you work with the systems we already have?
Yes, that's usually where we start. We build around what you already own. Plenty of clients first called us with a 2009 Access database sitting on a shared drive.
