IT Support for Government
Managed IT support from people who know your setup. When you call, somebody picks up. We keep watch on your network and servers, so most problems get fixed before they turn into an outage. Records systems that are decades old have to pass strict audits on a budget that always runs short.
Does Imagi-Tech do IT Support for county offices and municipalities?
Yes. Imagi-Tech provides managed IT support to county offices and municipalities across ten Ohio markets, from our office in Marietta, Ohio. We scope and quote each project after a free audit. The problem it addresses: records systems that are decades old have to pass strict audits on a budget that always runs short.

Quiet systems, with a phone number a person answers.
Government
The systems we end up in
Most county offices and municipalities run some version of these four. Our IT Support work usually starts with getting them to share data.
Permits, licensing, and code enforcement
Records retention and public requests
Utility billing and receipting
Grant tracking and reporting
What changes
- Public records found in seconds from a desk
- Audit trails that exist without extra clerical work
- Systems staff can run after the vendor goes quiet
How we work
IT Support, cut into four pieces
Free audit
We walk your network, servers, backups, and licenses, then write up in plain language which parts could fail you on a bad morning.
Stabilize
We get patching and monitoring in place and run a test restore from your backup while you watch. The noisiest problems get handled first.
Standardize
We document each setup and take over the vendor calls. Tickets go to one place, and a new hire sits down at a working computer on day one.
Stay ahead
We meet monthly to plan hardware purchases around your budget. When you call, the person who answers already knows your setup.
Proof
Work like this, written up
Each write-up explains what the client was up against and how our fix turned out.
Jefferson County, PA
We rebuilt three legacy county sites. That meant 200+ pages migrated to a Section 508 compliant platform, a secure case-file exchange for the District Attorney, a maintenance ticketing system, and a new county identity. The .com to .gov migration went live with no downtime.
200+ pages of legacy content migrated and rebuilt
Networking & Managed ServicesAthens Mold and Machine
A machine shop with no IT department and no disaster plan was running on spotty network security and a consumer ISP router. We audited first, then rebuilt and documented the network from the ground up.
0 to 1 disaster recovery plans (there was none before)
Security & MaintenanceUnited Bank
The bank has its own IT team and wanted specialists on call for the web side. We have handled their scheduled maintenance and controlled updates for seven years, and we take ad hoc escalations as they come.
7+ yrs continuous maintenance contract, still running

About IT Support for Government
What is included in managed IT support?
Help desk with a person answering, network and server monitoring, backup and disaster recovery with restores that get tested, security patching, and vendor management. The scope is agreed in writing before anything is billed.
Do you replace our IT person, or work alongside them?
Either one. Plenty of clients keep someone in-house and call us for the projects that person has no hours for, like a migration or after-hours cover. If you have no IT staff at all, we handle the whole job.
How quickly do you respond when something breaks?
We agree response times with you in writing at the start and set them to your business hours. A sawmill has a different hour that can't slip than an insurance agency does, so we don't publish one number for every client.
What happens in the first week?
A free audit. We walk through the network, servers, backups and licences and write up, in plain language, which parts could fail you on a bad morning. You keep that report whether you hire us or not.
Where does Imagi-Tech work?
We work out of 200 Putnam St, Suite 201, Marietta, Ohio, and cover ten markets across Ohio. Most work happens remotely because it is faster, and we schedule on-site time when hands on hardware will help.
Who owns the work when the project is finished?
You do. That includes the data, the documentation, the system itself, and every login. We never hold anything back to keep you as a client.
What if the person who built our current setup has left?
That is the normal case, and we handle it often. We document what you have from the outside, based on what it does, and the people who use it every day are usually the best source.
Do you work with county offices and municipalities?
Yes. County offices and municipalities across Ohio are a big part of our client list. The process stays the same whatever the sector: an audit, a written scope you approve, prototype checkpoints where they fit, and then launch and support.
