How long does a custom software project take?
It depends on scope. Once the blueprint is done, you get a timeline in writing. The order of work stays the same on every project: we review how you work, you approve a blueprint and click through prototypes, and then we launch and support it.
Do we own the software when it is finished?
Yes. The source code, the data, the documentation and every login belong to you, and we keep none of it back to hang on to you as a client.
What if our requirements change halfway through?
The prototype checkpoints handle that. You click through a working version at each one, so we catch a wrong turn early, while it costs little to fix.
Can it work with the systems we already have?
Usually, yes. Most of our projects hook into something you already run, such as an accounting package, a carrier portal or a machine on the shop floor, and we replace only the parts that need replacing.
What does Custom Software cost?
Scope decides it, so the free audit comes before any number. You get a fixed written quote before anything is billed, and you keep the audit whether or not you hire us. Digital Marketing is the one exception, sold at a published monthly price.
Are we too small for custom software development?
Almost certainly not. Most of our clients are businesses where the person in charge of technology is in charge of three other things too, and we built the process around that person.
