About Intra-State Insurance Corporation
Intra-State Insurance Corp is an independent insurance agency in Parkersburg, WV, with clients in nine states. They specialize in home, auto, business, health, and life insurance. The team takes pride in working with people and matching each client with the plan that fits.
The business challenge
Intra-State Insurance had kept the same basic HTML website for years. It did not work on mobile, and the visuals were badly dated. They needed something current and marketable that would present their partner agencies well. They wanted it easy to use, and they wanted it to show the human side of the business.
What we did
We designed a new visual experience for Intra-State Insurance that presents a modern brand and a professional team. We wireframed the user flow and suggested which content should go where to make it easy to use. The new website was built from scratch on a mobile responsive platform, which makes it easier to manage later. Photos of the Intra-State Insurance team run through the site to show how much they care about people.
What happened
The old website showed its age with feathered image borders and a post-it yellow background. Everything sat in a one-page spread that did not adapt to mobile devices, which made for a poor experience. The new site uses the screen better, with a color scheme that matches and complements their logo. Imagery centered on people shows the team’s focus on its clients and makes the site feel more welcoming.
