About Ohio Valley Specialty Company
Ohio Valley Specialty Company is a small, privately owned business in Marietta, Ohio, that supplies gas chromatography equipment internationally. OVSC has manufactured liquid phases since 1966, and their specialty products are in GC labs around the world.
The business challenge
Ohio Valley Specialty Company had recently moved its hosting to Paradynamix, and as part of that the site needed a new theme. Rebuilding on a more responsive, maintained theme improved things on the back end. OVSC then decided it was time for a more modern-looking site to advertise and sell their products.
What we did
The site already sat in a new theme that made editing friendlier, so we put that to use. We planned a new site map and user flow that walk visitors through the products with better descriptions. We took their existing branding and reworked how it is applied across the site for a cleaner, better designed experience.
What happened
Ohio Valley Specialty Company now has a clean, responsive website with consistent branding on every device. The user flow guides visitors to the products they are looking for.
